The transmitter buffer power(VCCH) of ALT2GXB in basic mode

According to the datasheet of Arria FPGA,the transmitter buffer power of ALT2GXB in basic mode is fixed at 1.5V,but in Quartus 8.0,this option can be either 1.2V or 1.5V,can I choose VCCH to be 1.2V in my design?Thank you!

Actually. I don't understand, what the datsheet statement in basic mode, this option is fixed at 1.5 v exactly means. I think, the appropriate VCCH supply (and respective setting in Megawizard) is application dependant. If the Megawizard doesn't refuse to set 1.2V (if the achievable TX levels meet your requirements), everything should be O.K. Otherwise, GXB transceiver may also work with a setting different from real VCCH value, as an unsupported feature.
