the time to recover filtering about FIR with multiple coefficient sets

AS the title describe, when i use FIR compiler with multiple sets,i want to know how long the filter would take to recover filtering if i change coefficients from one set to another.Through simulati...

Think! The recover time of a FIR is equal to the duration of it's impulse response (N/fs).
