STP (SignalTap) file -> moving from one project to another

Hi All,

Let's say I have the STP (SignalTap) file, which was created in some project.

Is it possible to use this STP in another project, which have the same hierarchies and the same signals? The project names are also the same.

Is there another way to add signals to SignalTap besides adding them manually using a GUI?

    Yes, you can use the same file as long as all the names match.

    From a command line, run "quartus_sh --qhelp" to see what scripting options you have.
