A am newbie to altera and VHDL programming, I like to install Quartus 9.1sp web edition on my ubuntu 9.10. Kindly guide me or point me to the appropriate site where i can find detailed information about it. regards1 Reply

that wasn't too complicated to do here on ubuntu (inside virtual box). but there is a good explanation here http://zet.aluzina.org/index.php/synthesis_guide (http://zet.aluzina.org/index.php/synthesis_guide) BTW .. that link goes to a project that runs Windows 3.0 on a cyclone II dev kit from SD Card... it works great :-)
