sdo file not being created

Has anybody ran into the problem where the .sdo file is not created by Quartus. My project compiles completely. All the constraints in the sdc file in Timequest pass. Quartus generates the .vo file. I've searched all the folders in the project but the .sdo file doesn't get created. Am I missing a setting? I'm using v9.1. Thanks.

    Never mind. Found the problem. I guess by turning on the option "generate netlist for functional simulation only" stops quartus from producing the sdo file. I swear some tutorial somewhere told me to turn on that option. Should have paid attention to what it did.
