Run LCD Nios Program Automatically

Hi,

I have a Program on Nios that when debugged prints to the LCD display on my DE2 Board. But I wanted to find out the way/ what direction to take to make the program run just by clicking an icon on the desktop. The ultimate goal is to make the LCD program run automatically right after the board boots up.
