(Which causes a change in the method of synthesis in Quartus) Or you can provide me with some important docs for that which point to the line of differences Plz reply asap.. :) --- Quote End --- Hi, the Cyclone devices are the low cost family and the Stratix devices the high-end family of Altera FPGA's. The decision which FPGA you use should be defined by specifying your requirements. Question like how many I/O do you need, do you need a serial IF, do you need a lot of Multipliers .... are in the first step more important, then looking to the low level stuff like inputs of the LUT's of the FPGA's. Define your requirements and then look into the datasheets of the FPGA's and choose the one which fits best to your needs.
