Reading a text file on NIOS

I have a NIOS program that reads from a text file and outputs to a LCD screen. The issue is it only runs when i debug as Nios Hardware, Using the run as Nios Hardware always results in no output. Ple...

If you are using the host filesystem module, it only works in debug mode. There is no filesystem running in release mode available in the standard libraries delivered with the Nios II EDS
