Quatus 2 11.1sp2 error massage

hello.

My quatus 2 generates this error message when I start prpgram/configuration to the device of Cyclone 2 and EPCS1.

the version of Quatus 2 is 11.1sp2

Please help if you know the solution.

    I am seeing the same issue trying to program an EPCS128 flash device of a Cyclone 2 Altera devices. I am using version 12.0SP2.

    Hello.

    My case, this problem is solved after updating Quatus 2 to version 12.0.

    I think you should try updating Quatus 2 to newest version.

    Hi,

    I think its always the first step to update to the latest Version as long as this is an option in regards too either devices are supported in latest Version (old device families as e.g. ACEX, Cyclone (1st Edition), .. aren't). Sometimes formal project requirements may force you to use the old version to be compliant with the developement, while this is more industry specific. Last reason to stay with old Version is having a Full Version and no valid maintenance subscription (and falling back to WebEdition is no option)...

    Otherwise, as a collegue of mine picturized, using old releases is like reading last week's newspaper :-D
