Hi Randy,
It is is for a project. We designed a COM HPC module motherboard on which we have used the JHL9020R (the design of our motherboard is based on CONGATEC HPC motherboard, which uses an obsolete TBT IC).
The motherboard is actually on my desk, waiting for validation of the TBT subsystem

I followed the links provided. Unfortunately, it doesn't solve my problem. The JHL9020R is a Thunderbolt retimer, not an ethernet adapter.
In the user's manual of the ic and on the design examples, there is a non volatile memory supposed to contain several configuration informations ( as I2C slave adresses..) .
But the structure of the NVM is not described anywhere, with the functions of all the locations.
Currently, I powered on the motherboard and it seems that the TBT IC was detected, but I don't know yet if it is fully operational (I still need to configure the Power Delivery IC to be sure of this).
Anyway, knowing the NVM contents seems to be mandatory to me.
