Problem with flash DE2-70

Hi,

I am working on a DE2-70 board and I have a little problem with the flash.

I want to copy a picture from flash to SDRAM using NIOS 2 and SO PC Builder. I use Byte mode of the flash by connecting the# BYTE pin to the ground.

There is a .bmp picture in the flash, and when I open it with word pad the firsts values are BM8²4. But after the copy, there is in the SDRAM only one value every other :B84.
