Power reading in side the FPGA

Hello,

I have the Cyclone 3 development kit from Altera. The on board MAX Plus II cpld measures the power and displays it on the seven segment POWER LED display. Does any one know how to read this values in-side the fpga?

Thanks .

The reference manual tells, it's accessible through the fsm (flash memory) bus. I don't have the Dev Kit, if no examples or other documents are provided, ask Altera support for the missing information.

    Thanks FvM,

Ya, the reference manual says that and there is also an example. but the reference does not say how to do it and the example does not read the values in the FPGA. Instead, it displays the power consumed when you increase your area or frequency in the design.
