PFL and nios II control flash

hi, I am going to use PFL and AP configuration scheme in my Cyclone III with an external parallel Flash. In this Cyclone III, there is a Nios II processor, and I am going to put the Nios II imaging in the same Flash. Is that possible?

    Is the answer still yes if the Cyclone III is a Stratix IV and you are using FPP instead of AP?

    Please advise - where can I find more info on how Nios II can use the non-configuration data stored in the same flash memory device which was used for configuration?

    It is confusing , that on this schematic ( from Parallel Flash Loader Megafunction User Guide ) Nios II Processor Interface looks to be outside Altera FPGA, but actually it is inside it.
