NIOS II flash programmer

Hi,

I am using the "read only zip file system" project templete. But, after following the whole procedure finally in flash programmer window I get an error "SOPC system does not have any flash memory".

what i think is that, while selecting the cfi flash, my flash device does not appear in the given list, so choose the "custom" option and define the address, data and timing parameters.

My flash device is Spansion S29GL512N

address width i give is 25 and data width 16.

timing parameters - setup = 90ns, hold = 90ns and wait = 165ns.

Please suggest the possible solutions.

    Setting it up as custom shouldn't matter. Are you sure you've pointed to the appropriate .PTF file for your project? Double-check that. What version of the tools are you using?

    What kind of addressing are you using in the custom device: Native or Register?
