I'm considering SRunner tools to edit my .rpd files. However I didn't find any files about this tool. Is there any handbooks of this tool? Or do I need to read the source code of this tool?
BTW, is there any tools that have similar function of editiing the .rpd files? Any suggestions can be helpful!2 Replies
Altera_ForumAltera has AN418..application note for SRunner. But this doc is old. I dont think Altera will update it coz the tools itself is old too..no longer being maintained. U can use hex editor to modify the rpd..

You can just search any free software that can read and edit binary files. Srunner does not work to edit .rpd files. Not sure why you need to edit the .rpd file but if you need to generate the .rpd file only contain device bistream without additional 0xFF bytes you can refer this link:
