Max10 Board Design Question
Hello,
I want to design an FPGA board using a Max10 FPGA device. I prefer to use a 10M02SCU169C8G device or similar because I do not need a lot of logic resources.
I am very familiar with PCB design and FPGA programming but never designed an FPGA board before.
Could you suggest a good place to start. What I need is a hardware design guide or a reference design for Max10 devices.
Datasheet given by Intel does not have any information on hardware design aspects.

Hi Buddika,
You can refer to below Intel FPGA Max10 dev kit board as reference.
It contains some user manual doc and board schematic reference.
Thanks.

You may also want to check out below Max 10 pin connection guideline doc that provide guidance to how to to connect the FPGA pin on the board.
Thanks.

Hello dlim,
Thank you very much for the answer. From where can I find a datasheet that provide information specific to 10M02SCU169C8G chip? For example I want to find which pins are power, I/O, GND and JTAG of the particular chip and package. All I could find was a generic datasheet for the Max 10 family https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/hb/max-10/m10_datasheet.pdf

Yup, that's the link where you can check out your FPGA pin function.
Normally I prefer to download the excel version of pinout file for ease of editing

Hi Buddika,
Alright, hopefully everything goes well with your project development.
For now, I am setting this case to closure.
Feel free to file new forum case if you still have enquiry in future.
Thanks.
