Linux driver for loading a cyclone 10 lp in passive serial mode

Question

Hello,I am trying to program a Cyclone 10 LP using configured in passive serial mode. I have connected the Cyclone to my main system processor, which runs Linux, over a SPI port. I am looking for a Linux driver or userspace application to configure the FPGA. I have struggled to get the fpga_mgr FPGA Manager — The Linux Kernel documentation to function. It all seems overly complicated; I am not a linux expert so might just be my inexperience... I am reaching out to see if anyone has some recommendations.
