Legacy devices, ep1810 for Quartus

I have an EP1810LC-35T, which is discontinued and hard to get. The EP1810LC-35 (non turbo version), also is discontinued but is more readily available and can use it in my design without any hardware changes, but will need to recompile the design to change the device. I need over 300 of these devices and can meet my quota for the non turbo versions if I can implement. I do not want to change my design or board for a new device. The product that I am supporting, is dicontinued, but may last for another several years as spares.

Obviously the device was programmed on a MAXPlus 2 environment and I no longer have the license for this version. I do have the Quartus II 9.1 software and license.

Is there a way to port legacy devices into Quartus II or use MaxPlus II to access the old stuff again?

Thanks for any help..

Rich

    Rich,

I think the best way would be to contact your local Altera support team and see if you can get a license for an maxIIplus and do it through that. I don't think there is a way of doing it in Quartus. I don't think that the ep1810 was ever supported in quartus.

Thanks Boris..I was afraid of that! and your right the device was never supported in Quartus. I will need to discuss this with Altera.

Just to let all know and to close out this question...I was able to find a PC version of the MaxPlus II in the archives by my ECAD folks and now I am up and running.

    thanks,
