latticemico8 core use in cyclone

even if you get the source code in vhdl or verilog, most probably they write it using mostly primitives for lattice fpga. you won't be able to use it for altera cyclone chip.

forget about it. if you want to use latticemico8, then you have to get lattice fpga. just like picoblaze for xilinx fpga.

just find out about nios II if you want to use processor core on cyclone.
