keep program after powerdown

How do I keep the same program loaded in a CPLD after a power down without having to reconfigure. Do I need to use a configuration EPROM such as an EPC1? If so, how do I program an EPC1?

I am using a Flex 10K device, I know how to hook up the EPC1 to the Flex 10k but I don`t know how to program the EPC1.
