New ContributorIssue with Downloading .sof file to Agilex Device Via Quartus
I have successfully build a .sof file and attempted to download it to Agilex device using Quartus. However, I have the following error message
Error [213002]: programming option is illegal.
after reviewing the Intel Agilex document and I found out the Agilex device includes a Secure Device Manger. Could this be influencing the error?
Is any workaround solution available to successfully download the file?

Which device? What version and edition of Quartus (presuming Pro)? Does your design include any IP that you haven't licensed?

The version is 23.04

Hi,
It might be that the Quartus Prime software cannot use this file because the file is corrupted or incomplete.
Can you try to regenerate the file and make sure the regenerated file is not corrupted or incomplete.

Hi Aiman,
Thank you for looking into this.
I attempted to recompile the .sof file using the updated Quartus 24.1, but the errors have persisted.
Please advise on the next steps.

You are using HPS right? Please provide us your smartVID setting. You can find it in Quartus.

HPS is used in the deign. The constraint file can be found in the attachment.
