is MAX 3064 CPLD 's are not in production now? arent they recommended for new designe

Hi,

I want to know whether MAX3000 series CPLDs (eg EPM3064) are currently not in production. Are'nt they recommend them for new designs. I really want to know since now there is no CPLD in TQFP-44 package other than MAX 3000 series.

    hey I really want to know whether max3000 series in production or not?. Im goint to use epm3064-10 in a new design..

    They are active Altera products. You don't find any product discontinuance notifications for this device family. If you want to know about expectable future product discontinuance, you have to ask Altera representatives.

    I asked this since altera new product selection guide misses the max3000 family..

    They also don't list other active products. You may want to understand this as an indication of nearer end-of-life.
