I/O Element

I want to know the number of I/O Element in user I/O.

CPLD:EPM570T144C5N

user I/O:116

Does All user I/O have I/O elemenst?

If it is possible, I want to use all user I/O as bidirectional I/O buffer(inout).

    Hi there,

    you should check the datasheet as

    user I/O are pins available for your application but some are inputs only.

    I checked the device handbook.

    but I don't know user I/O which is inputs only.

    If it is possible, please let me know what is inputs only user I/O of EPM570T144C5N.

    Hi,

    the pinout is defined in http://www.altera.com/literature/dp/max2/epm570.pdf

    As there are no I/O pin defined as input only, the I/O as listed are bidirectional, some (e.g. the Clocksignals) are either dedicated clock signals or can be used as I/O (to be defined in QuartusII) - if you are fine with using the I/O regarding the number of signals to be connected, just use only the I/O...
