I cannot generate .sof file

Hi! i create a simple project in quartus ii v7.2, it containe a schematic file with three gates. I compiled it but haven't generated the .sof file. So, when i go to load my project to the board there...

why still using version 7.2? which is outdated and longer supported. You can try the newer release but web edition if license is a concern. But before that, please ensure you device is still supported. For example, Stratix GX device is obsoleted since version 13.1.
