Honored Contributori would recommend using a distributed revision control system tool like Mercurial instead:
http://mercurial.selenic.com/ http://tortoisehg.bitbucket.org/ it has low overhead (read: isn't annoying) and will give you a much better indication of changes you've made over time than Quartus revisions
