hi. i am just beginner.........i am going to start work with nios. i dont know from where i do start?? can any body give the step for starting.

Honored ContributorI recommend you buy the NEEK (Nios Embedded Evaluation Kit) made by Altera and follow the step by step guide on developing your first Nios II platform using the free SOPC builder that comes with Quartus (also included in the kit).
Assuming you have a good understanding of embedded micro controller systems this should help explain how all the elements fit together to deliver your first functioning platform. This is the route i took and to be perfectly honest there were no questions left unanswered by the time i had completed the step through guides. Good luck, and enjoy!
