How to interface an camera with Altera DE2 board?

I have Sony EVID70 camera with me! I have tried to interface it with the DE2 Board. It is an NTSC system camera. But I think the input is not read from the camera. I receive a no signal display in my VGA Monitor! Please Suggest me a camera and a way to interface it with DE2 board.

    Are you driving the adc/video decoder according to the data sheet? Have you got a standards converter in the fpga?
