How do you Upload Seperate files onto Flash/epcs

Hello All,

I am attempting to now learn how to carry out a boot seq for my device..

I need to too be able to store some calibration and factory setting file in the EPCS flash, and on boot up i need to load those files on to sram.

I have figured out how to read and write to the EPCS from nios, but kinda stuck in how would you now take a simple Calibration files, which contains pixels data 16bit each, from my pc and dump it on the EPCS flash using the Flash programmer.

Can this be done, is Flash programmer the tool i need to use?

What format should the file be?
