I assume, that JRunner has a smaller footprint, because it doesn't involve interpreter code. But I didn't use it yet.

I had port a a part of Jam STAPL Byte-Code Player into lpc2148,but it seems enter dead loop,why?Would you please tell me how much RAM dose Jam STAPL Byte-Code Player need to work? THANK! - Altera_Forum

I only used Jam Player at a PC up to know and didn't care for RAM usage. As said, I expect JRunner to have lower resource requirements. But Jam player should work on an ARM7, too.

My project can work now! I port jam player because .jbc file is little.

I'm currently working with an NXP ARM7 uC too, trying to port the jam of jbc player to this micro, in order to program an Altera FPGA. But I'm having several problems!!
