help: the type of file in epcs using as model

hello,

i am sorry,my english is poor.

my system includes ep1c12 and epcs,and also ext_flash. now i want to receive the data by nios program, and then store the data in epcs,and re_POR to configure the fpga.

now , i don't know which type of file to download,.sof or other file?

    I guess you need to create a flash file from sof file using sof2flash utility and then it needs to be stored in to the epcs.

    thanks, the problem is solved. i used nios ii command shell, and found a operation in background, system create a s-record file using sof2flash utility.
