help in new project

Hello everyone!

I need a little help, i have a stratix ii development board kit and i would like to know if i can use this board to run a brushless motor (HDD motor). I have the Quartus II installed whit license so i would love to get some help step by step building a project.

    Hi UltraViolet,

    You should get a real FPGA-based Motor Control development board available on the market, i.e. Arrow's Motion Fire or EBV's Falcon Eye.

    Typical devices for those applications are Cyclone devices (low-cost). Stratix are meant to be used in very high-end applications.
