GTS Transceiver Compatibility

I have implemented a GTS Ethernet Intel FPGA Hard IP to interface to an external Optical transceiver. Is this compatible with : Optical Interface: 1000BASE-SX Multi-mode (850nm) ?

    Hello SDavi9

     

    Yes,  GTS Ethernet Hard IP can be used with an external 1000BASE‑SX optical transceiver, as long as you meet two conditions:

    • The external module provides standard 1G SerDes line rates (1.25 Gbps).
    • You interface through the transceiver’s standard serial differential pair (SFP/SFP+ type).

    But overall, it should be compatible.
