GPIO over HSMC on Altera DSP Development Kit, Stratix V Edition

Hello all, What is the simplest way to connect an USB-to-UART module to the board in subject that have only HSMC connector? Thank you

I assume you mean the low-level UART signalling - is that right?

There's no 'easy' way to do anything with the HSMC connector without a mating PCB. However, you can get hold of the mating half of the connector (samtec asp-122952-01 (https://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahukewjvwm7b9djkahxcurqkhdxyciiqfggfmaa&url=http%3a%2f%2fsuddendocs.samtec.com%2fprints%2fasp-122952-01-mkt.pdf&usg=afqjcnhueobffx5i0kptzhq7qivpv5aagg)) and solder wires to it. Far preferable (and less risky) to soldering wires straight to your dev board.
