From FPGA to Monitor

Hi, Im wondering if it possible to store some pictures file in the FPGA and having them loaded to the monitor screen? If yes, how do I do that? thank you very much! =)

I never work with it, but I think you can find tutorials and examples in the DE2 CD-ROM.
