FPGA reconfiguration during runtime

Hi,

how is it possible to reconfigure the fpga during an executation of nios II program?

I've a C program that run on nios II and after some HAL thing, it suddenly reconfigure Stratix III ! and ofcourse program exits it's execution?

is something wrong with cables or what ?
