ethernet with DE2 hellpp!!

hi everyone,

I am working on a project with altera DE2. I want to implement the ethernet interface. I mean , I want to connet this kit to the internet by ethernet. firstly I looked at the codes in verilog in opencores but these are written by xilinx. it is no problem I exactly understood what should I do. but when writing this code I really confused about using what kind of a RAM. so is there anyone could help me :(
