14 years agoMy guess is it's the conversion tool that is not working properly in win 7 so jic not generated correctly if the case is that sof file is working. Your best bet is to use another pc not running win 7. quart us does not support win7 for a reason so you may run into other random/weird probes that will cause waste of time. My coworker at work tried quart us on win7 and had a lot of random problems.
--- Quote Start --- Thanks for the comment, but it's strange because there is no problem with *.sof configuration using Quartus II in Windows 7 64 bits. The FPGA works well. The problem has happened with serial configuration device EPCS1 using SFL in FPGA and *.jic files. There is no error on Quartus II message when the programming is done, only that the FPGA do not start the configuration after. Could be the compressed data on jic file that is corrupted when is sent to EPCS1, using windows 7 64 bits? --- Quote End ---
