EP4CGX22CF19C8N Failure Short D8 to C8
Hi Syafril,
It depends on the device family. For Cyclone IV GX, it needs minimum three device affected with the same failure.

Hi Aqid,
Thank you for the response. Please help to advise whether it is possible to proceed with the FA submission with only one pcs of the defected part and if there is any additional cost.
Please help to advise what additional information needed if it is possible.

Hi Syafril,
I understand your concern and I refer your request to the internal team.
Unfortunately, we can't proceed with the FA. Cyclone IV GX is a very mature product, with only one device available, the analysis would be unlikely to provide statistically meaningful or actionable information. In practical terms, a single failure on a product with this level of shipment history would not be expected to yield a valuable outcome from the FA process.
Based on the symptoms you described, our preliminary assessment is that the failure was most likely caused by overstress during a previous process step. Therefore, even if we made an exception and allowed this single unit to proceed through FA, no valuable additional outcome would be expected. We would recommend considering FA if a broader failure pattern emerges, for example, if multiple units from the same batch or lot show the same symptoms.
