En5364qi

Hi,

I have used

[h=1]EN5364QI for getting a 3.3V from 5V input, the schematic is attached. I see no voltage on Vout, may the problem be about the SS pin connected to GND?[/h]

Thanks for advance.

    From the datasheet...

SS: A soft-start capacitor is connected between this pin to AGND. The value of the capacitor controls the soft-start interval and startup time.

What happens when i connect SS directly to GND?

It starts so softly that you never see a voltage at the output.

I have manufactured the pcb, so when i disconnect the SS and leave it no connect, can i see the voltage then? I am trying to know if a rework on pcb is worth it.

    Thanks

    Try it and see.

Today i will try ( leave Ss pin unconnected) and tell the results. You know its so hard to make that pin unconnected due to the package but i will try it with a technician.
