Hi Xristos,

the atan method leads to the same phenomenon of small swing just over zero.

So I don't see any gain using that method. Moreover the cordic method is more difficult to implement compared to other methods.

Attached a fully functioning Matlab code that uses 3 methods and compares the swing of signal.
