Digi has the -7N avaliable, which should be fine although more expensive and lead free. Arrow reps altera as well(arrownac.com) although they don't have stock of the -10 either.

I assume, you wanted a 5V CPLD. There aren't much alternatives now. As the price clarifies, MAX7000S is clearly legacy. I think, the last time, I used it 9 years ago in a design. It's better to use recent devices, even if level converters are needed sometimes. 5 V tolerant MAX3000 is the right choice for designs that still involve 5V, for the time being. I guess, you know the current prices yourself.

This was my first design.
I used schematic entry. All pins are used, and 93% logic utilization. Can I make a Max 3000 work in its place without designing a new pcb? - Altera_Forum
