I just got the Cyclone IV GX. I am trying to use it on Quartus but my device (EP4CGX150BF14) is not listed. Is there any other way I can add it?

Altera_ForumYou need to download the device support module for cyclone IV and add it to your quartus installation. See the installation manual for details.

I added the device support module, I can choose cyclone IV GX in the family list but EP4CGX150BF14 is still not listed in the device list :/.

Are you sure you have that part number correct? According to my reading of the data sheet, there isn't a 150B variant. The 150 series starts with the 150C, and there is also 150D, but no 150B. Look at the actual chip. Sometimes documentation isn't correct.

Hi fabiemg,
As I understand it, the CIV GX 150 device only support package with 484 pins and above (F23, F27 and F31). I believe this is why you could not locate "EP4CGX150BF14" from the Quartus II device selection list. You may refer to the https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/cyclone-iv/cyiv-51001.pdf for further details on the supported device and package.
