Ddr2 Sdram

I have to use 256MBytes of DDR2 SDRAM in my application with Cyclone III(40F780) FPGA.

Data bus width wich i have to use is 8 or 16 bit and i got a chip "MT47H256M8HG-37E IT". but i dont find settings for this chip in DDR2 controller in Quartus.

I need help regarding how to update settings for this chip.

    Hi

    Basically you have to extract all the timing values from the Data Sheet for the memory you want to use.

    Then when you use the Mega Wizard plugin manager to configure the DDR2 memory controller. Choose a similar device then modify the parameters to match those extracted from the datasheet above. You can then save this as a custom device.
