Crystal Clock at EPF10K100EQC240-3

Question

Hey,

I am using EPF10K100EQC240-3 IC with 8MHz crystal (SG-615P).

When I measure signal on the crystal I see only 60Hz (in my country the frequency of AC power is 50Hz) instead of 8MHz. The board is working well.

Can some explain me please how is it possible?

How did you measure your clock signal? Did you use a scope? What does the waveform look like? Are you sure you have a good ground connection?

I already understood where was my mistake. I used digital scope and the sampling frequency was too low.
