http://www.altera.com/support/refdesigns/sys-sol/computing/ref-niosii-vga.html though, its for different board i suppose. But the software will give you idea about the simple graphics libraries. I think, you will have to combine the understanding of reference design for DE1 board and the one in above mentioned link. Regards
