Config. FPGA during Runtime

hello there,

im new on programming and config. fpga's, just for 2 months now... as you see im a noob on this section. So i hope you guys are not bored while reading this thread ;)

So back to the topic. As you see on the enclosed attachment i have built a sawtooth generator with SP*.

I've already implemented this in my fpga and it works!

Now i want to change the increment from the Constant from "1" to "2" or something, DURING the runtime from the fpga, but how?

I read many websites now for hours but i didn't find anything that helps me.

So i hope u guys can help me!

BTW i use the Quartus 2 Software Version 8.1 Web Edition and i have a Cyclone 2 Device EP2C35F672C6N (This Device is Part of a Starter Kit).
