Compiling NIOS 3.2 / Quartus 4.2 in Win8

Hello all, We have a legacy system which still uses the Quartus 4.2 and NIOS 3.2 compiler / SOPC builder to compile the firmware. We have no option to upgrade as we are still using the old APEX...

If the blaster can't tunnel through the vm, you should still be able to program bitstreams compiled with older versions of quartus using newer versions of the standalone programmer
