compiler problem

Hello I had a C++ code running well on NIOS II IDE software. Then I upgraded the software and then the code was stucked in a loop of my code. I did not change anything in the code of course. ...

NIOS forum is probably a better resource, and i think the problem may be related to embedded coding practices. global variables need to be volatile etc.
