ByteBlaster 5V parallel port

I have a byteblaster 5V which connect to te PC by the parallel port. Can I use it to programm a MAXII CPLD with it (changing the 5V signals by 3.3v signals of course and if necessary). A...

There are three ByteBlaster models in use:

- Byteblaster (5V only, using a 74LS244 buffer)

- Byteblaster MV (3.3/5, using a 74HC244 buffer)

- ByteBlaster II (1.8 - 5 V, using a discrete transistor and IC interface)

In addition, ByteBlaster II supports AS serial programming.
