Bursting master to non-bursting slave

What exactly happens when an Avalon bursting master is connected to a non-bursting slave? How does the slave receive the correct addresses for the burst?

fjordan, see page 23 (2-13) for description of the burst adapter logic inserted

the burst adapter generates the correct address for each request to the slave, and buffers the burst data as needed.
